Here’s a message on what’s new from Durable’s CEO, James Clift:
These updates are designed to help you generate a great website, grow your traffic, and convert visitors into customers.
Here’s a preview of everything we launched:
- SEO Optimizations: Get keyword research, an SEO strategy, content strategy recommendations, and ranking data.
- AI Content Style Engine: Choose your preferred writing style and let our AI Content Style Engine generate and edit your copy for you.
- New Design Elements: We’ve introduced better website outputs, new sections, headers, and preview options.
- Website Templates: We've added a variety of fresh templates that not only make your site look great but also save you time. And now our website generator builds even stronger, more customized websites based on your input.
Let’s dive into what’s new at Durable:
#1. SEO Optimizations
As a small business owner, we know you don’t have time to learn about SEO, research keywords, write SEO-optimized blog posts, and figure out how to optimize your website. That’s why we’ve launched new and improved SEO Optimizations.
Our built-in SEO tool automates keyword research, applies top keywords to your new content, writes your SEO content, and highlights and tracks ranking data.
Let’s dive into what’s new:
Keyword Research, Traffic, and Ranking Data
We now identify and display the best keywords for your business to help you rank higher in search.
To access, navigate to your Durable Dashboard, select Website, and hover over Optimize.
Here, you can either add your own keywords or select “Suggest keywords”. Durable’s AI suggests the best keywords for your business.
Once you generate this list of keywords, Durable’s SEO tool will apply those keywords to all of your new website content.
You’ll have access to keyword ranking and traffic data when you publish your website. Durable automatically uses the ranking and traffic data to optimize and update your website continually.
Automatically Optimize Your Entire Website
With this update, every part of your Durable website is optimized for SEO, from your title tags and meta descriptions to your URLs and image descriptions.
Durable uses SEO best practices to ensure your website is set up for success. Durable pulls from your keyword list and applies them to any new website content you create.
You don’t need to do anything other than watch the traffic roll in. Our SEO tool also provides ongoing content recommendations to help improve your SEO.
If there are areas for SEO improvement, you’ll get a notification in the “Agents” tab with the recommendations and a note of where and what was changed.
On the topic of blog content, this update also includes improvements to the Blog Builder and Writer.
Blog Content Improvements
Durable’s Blog Writer is now even more optimized for generating traffic. When you generate a blog post with Durable’s Blog Writer, you can expect it to be generated using SEO best practices.
Durable's Blog Writer offers a strong starting point with its AI-generated content, but our platform is designed to be flexible. You can easily go into your blog and make edits to the copy and images.
Writing quality blog content is time-consuming, often requiring hours of research, writing, and editing. Our AI Blog Writer reduces this time, allowing you to maintain an active blog with minimal effort. Not only do we help with generating content, but we now automate your posting so you can more easily stick to a regular blogging schedule, which is crucial for audience engagement and SEO.
#2. New AI Content Style Engine
It’s official — you don’t need to write or edit your website copy ever again.
With Durable’s new AI Content Style Engine, we do it all for you. Our content engine can shorten, lengthen, simplify, and adjust your writing style. This means you spend less time writing and more time focusing on your business.
Here’s how it works:
- Log into your Durable account
- Navigate to your “Website” dashboard and select “Edit Website”
- Hover over any text box and select “Regenerate”
- You can simplify the writing, make it shorter, make it longer, or adjust the writing style.
- Select “Writing Style” to automatically adjust. You can choose from several different options.
- Once you’re happy with the regenerated copy, select “Done”.
#3. New Design Elements
Creating a more personal, creative, and streamlined website just got easier.
We’ve made some changes to our website editor. Here’s what’s new:
Browse and Switch Templates Easily
You can now transfer your existing Durable website to one of our new templates. Simply browse our template library and select the one you want to use for your website.
To change your website template, head to the website editor. Select “Customize” and “Change template”.
Scroll through the new templates and select “Preview” for any you want to try. You can either apply the template to your current website content or revert to the original.
Design More Freely
We’ve introduced several design features that make editing your website a breeze. You can now:
- Customize your website hero sections even further
- Manage all of your website pages in one streamlined section
- Choose from several updated menu styles
- Preview your website on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices

#4. New Website Templates
Whether you’re looking for simple website templates or something a little more modern, we have a Durable website template for you.
We’ve updated our library of templates to give you more creative design options.
Now, Durable’s AI Website Generator can generate even more personalized websites. Describe your business in one or two sentences, and watch the website builder design a fully written custom website for you.
With only a few words to prompt, the builder generates a ready-to-publish website in under 30 seconds.
#5. Additional Product Updates
Here’s a few more exciting updates:
New and Improved Dashboard: All your data — traffic, performance, and more — is in one place, so you can easily see how your business is doing.
International Currencies for Invoices: If you work with clients from different countries, you can now invoice them in their local currency, making payments simpler.
Streamlined Domains: You can now choose between Durable domains, buying a new domain, or connecting an existing one.
